Did Kirk Franklin Become The Richest Man in Gospel by Secularizing it?

There's one man who has become popular by changing the name and the game of gospel music. Though we have never endorsed nor appreciated the use of Jesus' name for profit, we thought we'd see what all of this is about. Eurweb.com reported recently that  TheRichest.org website says gospel's richest man in the industry is Kirk Franklin? They say Kirk Franklin's net worth is  $8.5 million! That's a lot of money for doing gospel music.
