Oprah and Iyanla Vanzant 'Spiritually Fed' by Gospel's Donnie McClurkin and Rapper Eminem? [VIDEO]

We are happy she found out how moving gospel singer Donnie McClurkin's song: 'Great is Your Mercy' can be for anyone who hears it. We love that song too. It's one of the most liberating songs for the soul, but why did they need to switch from gospel music to secular? It was going so well until Iyanla mentioned rapper Eminem and then India Arie.

How The Church Mistaken the "Anointing Vs. Talent" of Pastors and Gospel Artists

We wanted to share this piece of information that is crafted so well, we are not sure anyone could deny the truth of its context. Fortune Ogechi Agomo is truly 'anointed and talented' in how he gives information that is purely from the text of the bible and presents the true meaning of what anointing means vs what many of us confuse with talent.

Frank Ocean May Regret Coming Out Later

When we first heard Frank Ocean “came out” to say that his first love was a man only just TWO Days before his debut album dropped on iTunes, we came to the conclusion it must have been a publicity stunt to sell more albums. We did not cover the story because there is always someone who uses their 'coming out' moment for attention and in this case: MONEY!

Why Do People Still Watch Messy Talk and Reality Shows?

It seems like when shows like "Ricki Lake", "Maury", "Jerry Springer", including "Tyra" and the like aired, people could not get enough. The shows brought on the uncouth from every ghetto and street corner. Black folks, namely, were eager to sign up and 'show their behinds' on national television.

Singer Erykah Badu Says She Never Approved the Tasteless Concept of Flaming Lips Video

Below is the full, mostly unedited tweeted letter to a member of the group Flaming Lips, Wayne Coyne. We have edited out any profanity with 3 periods. There's no need for it here.

@waynecoyne then… perhaps, next time u get an occasion to work with an artist who respects your mind/art, you should send at least a ROUGh version of the video u PLAN to release b4 u manipulate or compromise the artist’s brand by desperately releasing a poor excuse for shock and nudity that sends a convoluted message that passes as art( to some).
Even with Window Seat there was a method and thought process involved. I have not one need for publicity . I just love artistic dialogue . And just because an image is shocking does not make it art.
You obviously have a misconception of who I am artistically. I don’t mind that but…
