In the beginning of the interview, Bishop Bloomer starts off by asking McCray to give the first word that comes to his mind as he responds to the many initial words that were thrown at him. Bloomer seemed to do so in some way to ridicule the interviewee which we realize at the end of the interview, that is exactly what he had planned to use against him.
